  The main building had a very helpful officer. The visitation/bond/commissary building had a very awful woman who laughed about someone I know being in jail after joking around in the back of the office for seven minutes before realizing I was even in the building to talk with her. She snickered at my questions and disrespected my girlfriends actions for being there to begin with. She laughed and said it will probably be 500.00 to bail her out. Not trying to be rude I calmly said okay thank you. May I wait here until I can bail her out so I dont waste fifteen dollars in gas coming back and she told me I was not welcome to "loiter" in their building for a couple hours. I'm not a rude person and neither is my girlfriend. We attend church and treat everybody with respect. I was appalled by their choice of actions taken today and recommend they find a respectful human being that cares about others rights.

  I was treated like I wasn't a human with feelings by the lady in vistitaion she was rude and nasty and made me and my daughter cry and its sad because of the maybe 100 officers she makes all of them look the same I have met some great woman and men that work for polk county and to have one rotten apple spoils the bunch I have never felt so inhuman intill I met her my daughter who is a wonderful girl tells me that the police are good some just weren't meant to be officers I think they need social skills when dealing with love one of inmates who have real feelings

  I called the Civil Division and they were unprofessional and very unfriendly, I hope to never have to call that department again.
